The Cross-Scheme Sample of Retirees is a panel that enables us to observe changes in the number and composition of retirees, to describe the conditions of retirement and to calculate the average amount of pension per retiree under all regimes. With this sample, we can calculate the total amount of pension for an anonymous sample of individuals, by reconciling data from the various compulsory French regimes. It also provides information for calculating the overall pension amount for an anonymous sample of individuals, by reconciling data from the various compulsory French regimes. The Cross-scheme sample of retirees also collects detailed information on the calculation of pension amounts: the number of validated trimesters, amount and circumstances of money withdrawals (withdrawal dates, in particular), as well as any reduction or premium. For each individual in the sample, the pension funds provide information on: the individual characteristics of the retiree: gender, year of birth, department of birth, number of children (three or over) taken into account for a pension increase, French department of residence; the nature and amount of benefits paid: identification of the pension scheme, type of benefit (normal, following incapacity or disability), amount of the various benefits received (main direct or reversionary benefit, increase for dependent spouse, increase for third party, increase for children, minimum old-age allowance, other ancillary benefits); the conditions for withdrawal of pension entitlement: withdrawal age, withdrawal rate, length of validated career, discount, premium, pension increased to a minimum or capped. The Cross-scheme sample of retirees is a panel: the generations belonging to the sample of one period are reselected during the next period, enabling a detailed observation of the evolution of pensions between two periods, by identifying the effects of different factors (revaluations, acquisition of new entitlements, arrival of new claimants, loss of the deceased).
