Many sociologists have studied the work conditions of industrial laborers. However, few have analyzed the consequences of the shift towards the tertiary sector, and the ensuing rebuilding of the working class. We will conduct a macro analysis of the changes brought to the laborer group in France, and a finer one for those working in warehouses in particular, as these jobs have seen the strongest increase during the past 30 years.
