The aim of this project is to understand why forms of agro-ecological transition are spreading unevenly across the country.
Using multivariate analysis techniques, our aim here is (1) to produce an updated typology of farms in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region by cross-referencing their social, structural and production dimensions. The results of this typology will then be mapped on a fine scale for the whole region. At the same time, (2) we will study the commitment (forage autonomy, production under labels, soil management, etc.). In complement, a more detailed analysis will be carried out on the fertilisation practices (3) of farms used here as indicators of the sustainability of farming systems.
