The aim of the research project is to explore the links between companies' training practices and the use of information and communication technologies by using data from the « TIC entreprises” surveys (INSEE) and the “Enquête Formation Employeur” surveys (Céreq, Dares and France Compétences). Three lines of research are envisaged. The first will focus on companies' training practices (training methods and objectives, ...) as a function of the digital technologies used (Internet of Things, Big Data, AI, etc.). The second will explore the ways in which companies are adapting to new skills requirements (their training policy, choice of recruitment or training, ...) in relation to the types of skills likely to become more widespread in the future and the technologies used. Finally, the third theme will explore the difficulties encountered by companies in developing information and communication technologies skills.
