The impact of productivity shocks on job reallocation in France

CHOCREA
Since the early 2000s, in the United States, job reallocation has decreased in all industries, particularly in the High-Tech sectors. Hecker et al. (2020) show that the decline in job reallocation is mainly due to the responses made by firms more than to productivity shocks. By using a set of company data, we are interested in the evolution of job reallocation over a long period in France in connection with the evolution of the productive system and the productivity shocks faced by firms.
