We woul like to explore the relationship between certain firm characteristics - particularlu, a firm's commitment to egalitarianism - and a firm's propensity to commit acts of foreign corporate bribery. Our study's setting is firms that participated in the United Nations' Oil-for-food Program from 1997-2003. During this program certain firms bribed foreign officials to sign oil-export and humanitarian contracts. We would like to conduct analysis where we can explore firm-level measures of egalitarianism as well as control for various firm-level characteristics.
