Socio-economic drivers of agricultural practices impacting soil carbon sequestration in Overseas France and their dynamics

CASOLOM
The general objective of the study is to contribute to the implementation, by agricultural and forestry stakeholders in the French overseas territories, of agricultural and forestry practices contributing to the mitigation and adaptation to the effects of climate change and to the objectives of the Trajectory 5.0 through the storage of carbon in agricultural and forest soils. After a diagnosis of the biophysical and agronomic drivers of soil carbon stocks in overseas territories, the study will focus on the socio-economic drivers of land use and agricultural practices impacting the evolution of soil carbon.
