This project aims to study inequalities in local labour markets from different perspectives. The first approach considered is the focus on access to employment through transport, and, in particular, the role of transport costs in access to employment. The introduction of the employer's reimbursement of 50% of public transport costs in 2009 provides an exogenous variation of transport costs and enables us to assess the impact of transport costs on jobseekers' access to employment. Secondly, we would like to study the effect of companies' market capacity on local wage dynamics and thus on wage inequalities. Another dimension of the project is to study the effect of internal migration (a change in the local labour market) on individual wage trajectories. Indeed, we know that internal migration can exacerbate spatial inequalities.
