Data on France's foreign trade primarily come from: - For trade in goods with other European Union member states, from declarations of trade in goods (DEB) until December 31, 2021, and from January 1, 2022, from the monthly statistical survey on intra-European Union trade in goods (EMEBI); - For trade in goods with other countries (referred to as "third countries"), from customs declarations (SAD). The ENQ CPF4 file contains data on trade in goods (introductions and dispatches) with European Union countries, collected through the EMEBI survey. The CPF4, or French product classification, is the reference nomenclature for the dissemination of France's foreign trade data.
