The all employees databases (BTS) is a declaration procedure which must be completed by all companies with employees. It contains information intended for use by various institutions (URSSAF, CPAM, IRCANTEC, UNEDIC, CNRACL, etc.) and by INSEE for monitoring wages and the associated workload.
The all employees databases (BTS), extracted from the nominative social declaration (DSN), replaces the annual declaration of social data (DADS).
In this document, which is shared by the tax and social security authorities, employers provide a certain amount of information about the establishment and its employees on an annual basis. For each employee, the following information is declared: the nature of the job and qualification, the start and end dates of the pay period, the number of hours worked, the employment condition (full-time, part-time), the amount of remuneration paid, etc.
The All employees databases - job position data (BTS-Postes) describes the workstation, the employee's individual characteristics, and some employer information from the Register of enterprises and establishments. Each record corresponds to a workstation, i.e. the consolidation of an employee's work periods within the same establishment. A workstation corresponds to the combination of an employee and an establishment (siret * directory identification number (NIR)): it accumulates all the basic information relating to this employee in an establishment, both for distinct periods of employment (e.g. several successive contracts), and for identical periods of employment (e.g. accumulation of salary and bonus lines). If the same employee works in two different establishments during the same year, he or she will be the subject of two separate records in the file, i.e. one workstation per establishment.
