Agri-environmental measures (MAE) are aids granted to farmers who commit to adopting environmentally friendly farming techniques beyond the legal obligations. They form one of the essential components of the second pillar of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).
MAE RDR2 GIS data concern the beneficiaries and payments of these aids between 2007 and 2014, a period which corresponds to the second programmed application of the European Rural Development Regulation (RDR2). These are cartographic files, in GIS (geographical information system) format, which can be used to map all agri-environmental measures adopted, according to the year, in metropolitan France.
