Within the framework of the IDAN network, the CASD and the German research center FDZ are working closely together and have jointly published the report “New opportunities for comparative cross-country research in France and Germany”.
With the aim of initiating and simplifying the feasibility of comparative research between Germany and France, this report develops two comparison tools. The first tool is a generic comparison of labor market data sets to which both centers provide access. The second tool is a detailed comparison at variable level between two administrative data sources: the German “Sample of Integrated Labor Market Biographies” (SIAB) and the French “All Employee Panel”.
