The ripple effects of Big-C culture: Cultural vibrancy to ferilize an innovative ground

Culture can entertain us, of course. It thrills us, too, above all. But that’s not all. Big-C culture – like cinema or music – invites us to reflect and plants small seeds of change in us. This is what we call the ripple effects of Culture – by which we mean its indirect or snowball effects. Some of these ripple effects could benefit organizations and businesses. How? The Culture developed in the city promotes education, inspiration, attraction and even retention of creative talents: all ingredients that organizations could take advantage of to stimulate their creativity and their capacity of innovation. Concretely, with this study, we tend to better establish the relation between the cultural vibrancy of a city and the presence of an innovative ground.
