The Impact of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of the Labor Market

EFFERSE
This project aims to assess the effects of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) on the labor market. CSR encompasses policies aimed at reducing environmental impact, creating an inclusive workplace, and improving firm's internal decision-making processes. Associated with the term ESG (environmental, social, governance), CSR is increasing becoming a key criterion for job seekers, especially for the young generations, who specifically look for companies that are environmentally friendly, transparent, and inclusive. Adopting these practices can then be a way for companies to attract and retain talent. This study uses structural econometric techniques to estimate employee preferences towards CSR practices and the impact of these preferences on the location choices of workers and companies.
