Recent projections suggest that artificial intelligence (AI) and robotization could contribute up to €13.33 billion to the global economy in 2030, mainly due to increased productivity and its effects on consumption. Certain questions, however, remain unanswered. Will machines destroy jobs? Will they generate more inequality? We also know that many branches of the economy will be completely transformed, with many companies disappearing and others being created. Are more jobs being created than disappearing? What are the factors which determine the creation and destruction of jobs? This project aims to answer these questions.
