Departmental inequalities in children's health status, and the determinants of these inequalities, notably linked to disparities in child protection policies, are insufficiently studied. This project aims to explore the capacity of SNDS data, matched with socio-economic and demographic data from the EDP, to identify children living below the poverty line or who have experienced traumatic events, and to study their health status and healthcare consumption. We will then examine the link between these health inequalities and variations in child protection policies between French departments, in order to question the ability of these policies to reduce inequalities in health and healthcare consumption.
