The project aims to report on the institutional and socio-economic determinants of installation-transmission in the EU and in France. An econometric analysis will be carried out for France to assess the respective weight of the determinants identified. We will then describe, with the help of territorial case studies, how certain players are reconfiguring a range of support and economic assistance services, in substitution for or in addition to existing public policies. After characterizing the territorial strategy of these players with regard to installation-transmission, the actions they implement will be analyzed in order to identify their real effects on installation and transmission paths. It will be a question of analyzing the extent to which these actions help to reduce the various types of costs incurred by project owners. Lastly, the installations and transfers supported in this way will be assessed in terms of their contribution to the agro-ecological and food transitions.
