Matching demand and supply for energy retrofits: a prospective mapping methodology

The project aims to study the convergence of supply and demand in the energy renovation market at the territorial level. This forward-looking approach relies on modelling household demand for renovation using a forecasting model, alongside projections of workforce availability by trade until 2050. By providing stakeholders in the renovation sector with independent prospective scenarios of supply and demand evolution, the project facilitates upcoming transitions in the building sector (growing environmental regulations, emphasis on comprehensive renovations, etc.). Identifying mismatches in specific market segments or territories will help target efforts and serve as a basis for common dialogue among energy renovation stakeholders.
