Since January 1, 2024, the AGEC law mandates the sorting of bio-waste, which accounts for one-third of household trash. This measure aims to energetically valorize this waste and prevent its incineration, given that 80% of it consists of water. However, several months after the implementation of this requirement, only one-third of the population has access to a bio-waste sorting solution. The goal of this project is to analyze the impact of this policy and identify the most effective mechanisms for increasing bio-waste sorting.
