The studies on the associations between psychological work factors and health relied mainly on self-reported data, that may be impacted by a reporting bias. The literature is rare at international level and almost inexistent in France on the associations on these occupational exposures with objective health data (medico-administrative data) that may reduce this bias.
The objectives will be:
- to study the associations of psychological work factors with various health outcomes, including general health, mental disorders, and cardiovascular diseases and risk factors, via objective health data,
- to study different types of psychosocial work factors and to assess the role of co-exposure, multiple exposures, and synergetic effects of exposures,
- to provide information about etiological mechanisms that may explain the associations and
- to test differences in the associations according to gender, age and socio-economic status.
