This project aims at describing the link between children births and childcare on the one hand and participation to training programs or employment on the other hand. Special attention will be paid to individuals remote from the labor market: access to training programs is often a decisive step in professional insertion. In addition to this descriptive analysis, we will focus on the causal effect of childcare on professional insertion relying on the analysis of the "Fais-moi une place" program. This program has been gradually implemented in the Seine-Daint-Denis department, which allows us to implement a difference-in-difference analysis. We will complete the analysis with a matching approach.
