Ecological Transition, Employment, Work and Inequalities (ETEWI)
This project analyzes the impact of the ecological transition on employment, job quality and inequalities. It adopts a multi-disciplinary approach, crossing economics and sociology and combining quantitative and qualitative approaches. It takes a cross-cutting approach to gender inequalities, and offers a specific analysis of the agricultural sector. The first section looks at the business perspective, analyzing how environmental innovations and green investments can impact employment, job quality and inequalities on the labor market. A second axis considers the perspective of workers and studies the definition, dynamics and quality of jobs impacted by the ecological transition. A third axis analyzes how public policies, particularly business incentives, influence the effects of the ecological transition on employment and job quality.
