This project will analyze consumption behaviours of French people. First of all, we will try to understand whether French consumers are reactive to prices. To do this, we will use the various tariffs currently in place in France to quantify the effect of the price signal on consumption, and to identify the characteristics of the most price-reactive households. Then, we will attempt to identify the main factors of household consumption. The aim is to highlight the factors which explain household consumption according to individual characteristics of households. As not all consumers are price responsive, we aim to identify the characteristics of those consumers who are most likely to save energy and thus accept voluntary disconnection contracts. We will also explore the effect of home renovations.
