This study was selected, through a call for proposals, by DARES (the research department of the French work ministry). The aim was to fund urban policy evaluation projects. To evaluate the impact of the setting up of “sensitive” urban areas (ZUS) and tax-exonerated zones (ZFU) policies on access to employment for people living in these targeted areas. The model will reproduce the search for employment process of individuals as well as the process of recruiting.
