To strengthen its activities, Progedo is launching a call for expressions of interest with the support of the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research and the CNRS. The aim is twofold.
First of all, we need to build or strengthen initiatives aimed at facilitating access to data for quantitative social sciences (opening up of data pools, better reporting, enhanced documentation, new data collection, etc.) in a context of trust (preservation of data, guarantees of confidentiality or anonymity, etc.).
Secondly, the call aims to facilitate innovations in data collection and processing methods.
This call for expressions of interest focuses on four priority themes that may intersect in the proposed projects. Each of these themes must be understood from the perspective of Progedo’s positioning on data and methods for the social sciences:
1. Survey methodology
2. Standards and quality
3. Dissemination (training, communication, promotion)
4. Innovation and artificial intelligence
Open to all members of the research community, each proposal submitted may be individual or represent a group.
