Paola Tubaro is Director of Research at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS).
Trained as an economist, then as a sociologist, she is a member of the Centre de Recherche en Economie et Statistique (CREST) in Greater Paris.
She uses the science of social networks to shed light on contemporary transformations in markets and organizations. Her current research focuses on the economics of digital platforms, the global production networks of the artificial intelligence industry, the role of human labor in the development of automation and digital inequalities. She is also interested in the ethics of data and artificial intelligence.
