CESS 2024 was held in Paris from October 15 to 16 on the theme “The agenda beyond GDP: past, present and visions for the future”. The 2024 edition was jointly organized, under the aegis of Esac, by Insee, Banque de France, Eurostat and the ECB, the Paris School of Economics (PSE) as well as CNIS and CASD.
A number of highly interesting presentations shed light on the possibilities of enriching GDP by taking into account environmental progress, well-being, etc.
If you were unable to join the conference, presentation materials are available online.
CASD was a partner in the conference, and representatives of the Banque de France and the CASD presented the new possibilities offered in terms of data thanks to the partnership they have established.
CASD would particularly like to thank Roxane Silberman, President of ESAC, for taking the initiative of organizing the conference in Paris, and also to thank the Banque de France for hosting the event on its premises, as well as the international relations teams at Insee and the Banque de France for their strong involvement in the organization of the event.
