The Constance Cohort consists of a random sample of more than 200,000 volunteers between the ages of 18 and 69 at the time of their inclusion in the cohort, whose structure is proportional to the population for sex, age and social category.
The data collected at the time of inclusion and throughout the follow-up cover various fields: health data from health examinations, questionnaires and SNDS data (data on care reimbursement, long-term illnesses and hospitalisations); behavioural data (tobacco, alcohol, diet, physical exercise) and socio-economic data transmitted by the Caisse nationale d’assurance vieillesse.
The production management of the cohort data will be carried out within secure CASD bubbles. The exploitation of the data by the researchers will also be done within more specific secure bubbles equipped with powerful cards equipped with several GPUs (graphics processing units).
CASD teams are very pleased to collaborate with the Constance teams to develop new opportunities for researchers.
