The 1st edition of this international conference dedicated to intelligent metadata, organized by Insee, was held in Paris on April 11 and 12.
Around 100 participants attended some 30 presentations.
Presentations covered the standards used (DDI, DCAT, SDMX, VTL, etc.), data activation, the role of metadata in the process lifecycle, and interoperability.
In particular, the presentation on metadata exchange between Insee and CASD aroused keen interest. The importance of good communication for the success of projects involving different institutions was also emphasized.
