Following the joint revisions of the European and international nomenclatures, this working group aims to prepare the revision of the French activity nomenclature, which will come into force in 2025: defining its new structure and specifying the content of any new categories, within the framework specified by the European Statistical System Committee in May 2022.
The group will examine how the European nomenclature meets French needs, and will consider creating subdivisions of its 651 classes, paying attention to data collection and dissemination, as well as the additional cost of more detailed information.
